Quick Answers

The four things visitors ask before booking a private tour of Seattle — answered plainly.

What is a private Seattle city tour?

It is an hourly chauffeured sightseeing trip in your own vehicle — no strangers, no fixed departure time and no set route. You choose the stops, we plan realistic timings and your chauffeur waits at every one, from Pike Place Market to Kerry Park.

How much does a Seattle city tour cost?

A four-hour city tour is $380 in an executive sedan, $500 in a premium SUV and $660 in a luxury Sprinter. Hourly rates start at $95 per hour with a three-hour minimum, and every quote includes the chauffeur, fuel, tolls and parking.

How long should a Seattle sightseeing tour be?

Three hours covers the downtown highlights, four hours adds Kerry Park and Ballard Locks comfortably, and six to eight hours lets you reach Snoqualmie Falls, Woodinville wine country or Mount Rainier foothills without rushing.

Are entry tickets included in the tour price?

No. Our fare covers your vehicle, chauffeur, fuel, tolls and parking. Admission to attractions such as the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass or the Museum of Pop Culture is bought separately, and we are happy to time stops around your booked entry slots.

Seattle, Without the Parking Garages

Seattle rewards visitors who can move easily between its hills and waterfronts — and punishes anyone trying to do it with a rental car and a parking app. A private city tour removes all of that. You are collected at your hotel, home or cruise terminal, and the same vehicle and chauffeur stay with you until the last stop.

Because the tour is hourly and private, the route is genuinely yours. Spend forty minutes at Pike Place instead of fifteen. Swap the Fremont Troll for Gas Works Park because the light is better. Arrive at Kerry Park at exactly the moment the skyline turns gold, which is something only a local driver gets consistently right.

We run tours year-round, including winter and during cruise season, and we are just as happy to build a six-hour run out to Snoqualmie Falls or the Woodinville tasting rooms as a tight three-hour downtown loop between meetings.

City Tour Questions, Answered

Direct answers to what visitors ask us most. Anything else, our dispatch desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

Is this a guided tour or just a driver?+
Our chauffeurs are experienced local drivers who share the stories and context behind each stop and answer questions along the way. They are not licensed museum guides, so if you want a credentialed historian or a foreign-language guide we can arrange one to travel with you for an additional fee.
What is the best time of day for a Seattle city tour?+
Morning tours from 9 a.m. give you Pike Place Market at its liveliest and the lightest traffic. Late-afternoon tours are better for photography, with Kerry Park at golden hour and the skyline lighting up over Elliott Bay as you finish.
Do you run tours in the rain?+
Yes, year-round. On wet days we weight the route toward covered and indoor stops such as Pike Place, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the Amazon Spheres and the Museum of Pop Culture, and the chauffeur drops you at the door of each one.
Can you collect us from a cruise ship or the airport?+
We do this constantly. Pier 91 and Pier 66 layover tours are popular with cruise passengers, and we can store luggage in the vehicle and deliver you to Sea-Tac or your hotel at the end of the tour.
Can we stop for lunch during the tour?+
Of course. Meal stops are part of the hourly time and the chauffeur waits with the vehicle. Tell us the kind of food you like and we will suggest places with easy drop-off, or book around a reservation you already hold.
Do you provide child seats for family tours?+
Yes. Rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats are supplied at no extra charge — just give us the children's ages when you book so the right seats are fitted before pickup.
How far in advance should I book a city tour?+
A week ahead is comfortable for sedans and SUVs. Summer weekends, cruise season between May and September and holiday periods fill early, so book three to four weeks ahead for Sprinters, limousines and mini coaches.
Can we extend the tour if we are enjoying it?+
If the vehicle has no booking immediately after yours, you can add time on the spot at the same hourly rate. Just ask your chauffeur and they will clear it with our 24-hour dispatch desk.
