Quick Answers

The four things couples ask us first about wedding limousines — answered plainly.

What is a wedding limousine?

A wedding limousine is a chauffeured stretch limo reserved for a wedding day and named on your contract. It carries the couple and wedding party between getting-ready locations, photograph stops, the ceremony and the reception, with red carpet rolled at each stop and a formally dressed chauffeur handling every door.

How much is a wedding limousine in Seattle?

Packages start at $895 for four hours in an 8-passenger stretch limousine, $1,195 for six hours in our deluxe stretch with red carpet and ribbon trim, and $1,374 for six hours in the 16-passenger Hummer stretch. Guest shuttles are $165 per hour in a 14-passenger Sprinter and $195 per hour in a 24-seat mini coach.

What size wedding limousine do we need?

Book for gowns, not headcount alone. Six people in formalwear sit comfortably in an 8-passenger stretch, ten in a 14-passenger Escalade limousine, and a full bridal side of twelve to fourteen in the 16-passenger Hummer stretch. Anything larger moves to a Sprinter, mini coach or party bus.

How long should a wedding limousine be booked for?

Four hours covers a single-venue ceremony and reception. Six hours is the most common booking and allows a first-look shoot, a scenic photo stop and an unhurried arrival. Eight hours suits separate venues or out-of-town locations such as Woodinville, Snoqualmie or Bainbridge Island.

Sized for the Dress, Timed for the Day

Almost every wedding limousine problem comes down to one of two things: a car that was booked by headcount rather than by gown, or a timeline that left no room for the photographer. Both are avoidable, and both are decided weeks before anybody steps outside on the morning itself.

So we start with the dress. A ballgown or a cathedral train takes roughly the space of two seats, which is why six people in formalwear belong in an eight-passenger stretch rather than squeezed into something smaller. Then we build the timeline backwards from the ceremony, adding buffer at the points where weddings genuinely run late — the first look, the group shots and the walk from the venue door.

After that it is detail. Ribbon and floral trim fitted before the first pickup, the carpet rolled at each stop, an umbrella ready in Seattle weather, and a chauffeur who knows to take the train before the door closes. Ten years and more than 15,000 completed rides across the Puget Sound stand behind that.

What Every Wedding Booking Includes

Four things that are standard on our wedding limousine packages rather than charged as extras.

Red Carpet at Each Stop

Rolled at the ceremony and again at the reception, with the chauffeur holding the door before anyone reaches for a handle.

Chauffeur in Formal Dress

Suited or tuxedoed, licensed and background-checked, trained in gown and train handling, umbrellas and quiet discretion.

Backup Limousine Held

A second limousine of the same class is reserved on your wedding date, so a mechanical issue never becomes your problem.

Ribbon, Ice and Glassware

Floral trim, ribbon, chilled bottled water, ice and glassware fitted and stocked before your very first pickup.

Every Movement of the Day

The six runs we build into most Seattle weddings, timed around your planner's schedule.

Getting Ready & First Look

Wedding Limousine Questions, Answered

Direct answers to what couples, families and planners ask us most. Anything else, our dispatch desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

What is included in a wedding limousine package?+
The limousine named on your contract, a chauffeur in formal dress, fuel, tolls, parking, staging and waiting time, red carpet at each stop, ribbon and floral trim, chilled bottled water, ice and glassware. The figure you approve in writing is the figure invoiced — nothing is added afterwards.
Will a gown fit comfortably in the limousine?+
Yes, and it is the first thing we plan around. A ballgown or a dress with a cathedral train needs the space of roughly two seats, so we size the limousine for gowns rather than headcount and the chauffeur assists with the dress at every door.
Can we reserve a specific limousine rather than a vehicle class?+
Yes. Wedding bookings name the exact vehicle on the contract, and we hold a second limousine of the same class in reserve on your date as a backup. You are welcome to view the car beforehand at our downtown office at 1420 5th Ave.
Do you decorate the wedding limousine?+
Ribbon, floral trim and 'Just Married' signage are fitted before your first pickup, and red carpet is included on deluxe packages at no extra charge. Confetti, glitter and anything adhesive are not permitted inside the vehicle as they incur a cleaning fee.
What happens if the ceremony or photographs run late?+
We build buffer into every wedding run sheet, and the chauffeur simply waits with no separate waiting charge inside your booked hours. If the day runs past the booked time and the limousine is free afterwards, extra hours are added at the same rate and dispatch approves it on the spot.
Can the same limousine also shuttle our guests?+
Rarely, and we will say so honestly. A stretch limousine is built for the wedding party, not for volume. Most Seattle weddings pair the limousine with one or two Sprinters or a mini coach looping guests between the hotel and the venue, all on one timeline and one quote.
Can guests drink champagne in the limousine?+
Passengers aged 21 and over may enjoy sealed beverages in the rear cabin, and we stock ice, glassware and chilled bottled water. Open containers are never permitted near the chauffeur, and we card anyone who looks under 30.
Do you serve wedding venues outside Seattle?+
We cover all 37 Washington cities we serve, including Woodinville wine country, Snoqualmie and the Salish Lodge, Bellevue and Kirkland waterfront venues, Bainbridge Island, Gig Harbor and Tacoma. Travel time to out-of-town venues is included in the quoted package.
How far ahead should we reserve a wedding limousine?+
Six to eight weeks for most dates, and three to six months for Saturdays between June and September when Seattle, Woodinville and Snoqualmie venues fill first. A deposit holds the named limousine and chauffeur for your date.
Is a deposit required, and can we reschedule?+
A deposit secures the specific limousine and chauffeur and is non-transferable. Weddings rescheduled more than thirty days ahead can usually be moved to another available date — call dispatch on (206) 615-5466 and we will work it through with you.
Are your wedding limousines licensed and insured?+
Seattle Limo Service is fully licensed in Washington state and every vehicle carries commercial liability insurance. We supply certificates of insurance naming your venue as additional insured whenever their contract requires it.
