Cruise Transportation
Seattle Cruise Transfers to Pier 91 & Pier 66
Private chauffeured transportation between Sea-Tac Airport, your hotel and the Seattle cruise terminals. Flight tracking on embarkation morning, every bag carried to the porters, fixed all-inclusive fares and dispatch staffed 24 hours a day through the whole Alaska season.
Quick Answers
The four things cruise passengers ask us before sailing day — answered plainly.
How do I get from Sea-Tac Airport to the Seattle cruise terminal?
The fastest, simplest way is a private chauffeured transfer. The drive from Sea-Tac to Pier 91 (Smith Cove) takes roughly 35 to 45 minutes and to Pier 66 (Bell Street) about 30 to 40 minutes. Our chauffeur meets you in baggage claim, loads every bag and drops you at the correct luggage porters.
How much does cruise transportation cost in Seattle?
A sedan from Sea-Tac to Pier 91 starts at $99, a premium SUV at $139 and a 14-passenger Sprinter at $239. From downtown Seattle hotels it is $75 in a sedan and $110 in an SUV. Every fare is fixed and includes the chauffeur, fuel, tolls, terminal access and luggage handling.
What time should I leave for my cruise?
Plan to arrive at the pier within your assigned boarding window, usually between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. We normally collect downtown hotel guests about 90 minutes before that window and Sea-Tac arrivals as soon as bags are clear, which leaves comfortable margin for Alaskan Way and Elliott Avenue traffic on a Saturday.
Can you handle a large family or group with lots of luggage?
Yes. A premium SUV carries six passengers with seven bags, a luxury Sprinter takes fourteen passengers with full checked luggage, and a mini coach seats twenty-four. For cruise groups we can also add a dedicated luggage vehicle so nobody travels with a case on their lap.
The One Journey a Cruise Cannot Wait For
Every other part of a cruise has slack in it. This part does not. A ship leaving Pier 91 at 4 p.m. leaves at 4 p.m., and a family standing at Sea-Tac with eight cases and a ride-hailing app that has just quoted surge pricing on an Alaska-season Saturday is a bad way to start a holiday.
So we plan cruise transfers backwards from the boarding window rather than forwards from your pickup. Dispatch knows how Alaskan Way behaves on turnaround days, how long the Magnolia Bridge approach to Smith Cove takes when four ships are in, and which Sea-Tac door clears fastest when a morning bank of flights lands together. Margin is built in before you ever see a quote.
Afterwards, the same applies in reverse. Disembarkation never runs exactly to the printed schedule, so we time pickups to your luggage tag group, include free wait time and get you to your flight without the terminal kerb scramble. Ten years and more than 15,000 completed rides across the Puget Sound sit behind that judgement.
