Private Group Tours in Seattle

Eight to twenty-four guests in one vehicle, one schedule and one fixed price. Woodinville wine country, Snoqualmie Falls, city sightseeing and brewery runs in luxury Sprinters, mini coaches, limousines and party buses — with a local chauffeur waiting at every stop.

Quick Answers

The four things organisers ask before booking a tour for a group — answered plainly.

What is a private group tour?

A private group tour is a chauffeured sightseeing trip booked by the hour for your party only. There are no shared seats, no fixed departure time and no other passengers — you choose the stops, we plan realistic timings, and the same vehicle and chauffeur stay with the group from first pickup to final drop-off.

How many people can join a group tour?

We carry groups of eight to twenty-four in a single vehicle: a luxury Mercedes Sprinter seats fourteen, a stretch limousine eight to sixteen, a party bus twenty-plus and an executive mini coach twenty-four. Larger parties are moved in two or more vehicles travelling together on one itinerary.

How much does a group tour cost in Seattle?

Hourly group tour hire starts at $165 per hour in a 14-passenger Sprinter, $195 per hour in a 24-seat mini coach and $249 per hour in a party bus, with a three to four hour minimum. A six-hour Woodinville wine tour in a Sprinter is $990, which works out at roughly $70 per person for fourteen guests.

How far ahead should a group tour be booked?

Two to three weeks is comfortable midweek. Summer Saturdays, cruise season between May and September, and the December holiday period fill early, so reserve Sprinters, mini coaches and party buses six to eight weeks ahead for those dates.

Wine Country, Waterfalls and Everything Between

Woodinville sits forty minutes from downtown and holds more than a hundred tasting rooms within a few square miles — which makes it the single most requested group tour we operate. We plan three or four stops with a lunch break so the day never feels rushed.

Snoqualmie Falls is the other favourite, especially for visiting family and out-of-town guests, and pairs well with a loop through the Cascade foothills on the way back. Closer to home, brewery runs through Ballard, Fremont and Georgetown work brilliantly for birthdays and team celebrations.

Whichever route you choose, luggage, coats and purchases stay locked in the vehicle between stops, and the chauffeur handles the doors, the parking and the timing.

Group Tour Questions, Answered

Direct answers to what group organisers ask us most. Anything else, our dispatch desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

Is a group tour private or shared with other people?+
Every group tour is a private hire for your party only. Nobody else boards the vehicle, there are no additional pickups along the way, and the route is built entirely around your guest list and the stops you want.
Can you split the cost between the group?+
Yes. We quote one fixed all-inclusive fare, which divides cleanly per person — a $990 Sprinter wine tour for fourteen guests is about $70 each. One person books and pays, or we can invoice a company or organiser directly for group and corporate bookings.
Do you book the winery and restaurant reservations?+
We plan the route, drive times and parking, and we are glad to suggest tasting rooms and restaurants that handle groups well. Tasting fees, meals and attraction tickets are paid directly by your group, and we time stops around any reservations you already hold.
Can we bring drinks on board between stops?+
Guests aged 21 and over may enjoy sealed beverages in the passenger cabin of our limousines, party buses and Sprinters. We stock ice, glassware and bottled water. Open containers are never permitted in the front of the vehicle.
What happens if our group is larger than 24 people?+
We run multiple vehicles on a single shared run sheet so the whole party moves together, arrives together and is billed on one invoice. We regularly handle reunions, wedding guest tours and conference groups of 50 to 100 passengers this way.
Can we stop for lunch during the tour?+
Of course. Meal stops are part of the booked hourly time and the chauffeur waits with the vehicle. Tell us the kind of food the group likes and we will suggest places with easy drop-off and enough space for your party.
Do you run group tours in winter and in the rain?+
Year-round. On wet days we weight the route toward covered and indoor stops such as Pike Place Market, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the Amazon Spheres and Woodinville tasting rooms, and the chauffeur drops the group at the door of each one.
Can the tour start or finish at the airport or a cruise terminal?+
Yes, and layover tours are popular with cruise and conference groups. Luggage stays locked in the vehicle while you sightsee, and we deliver the group to Sea-Tac, Pier 91 or Pier 66 exactly when you need to be there.
Is there a minimum booking length for group tours?+
Three hours for Sprinters, SUVs and stretch limousines, and four hours for mini coaches and party buses. If the vehicle has no booking afterwards you can extend on the day at the same hourly rate.
Are your group tour vehicles licensed and insured?+
Seattle Limo Service is fully licensed in Washington state and every vehicle carries commercial liability insurance. The fleet is inspected, cleaned and sanitized between bookings, and certificates of insurance are available for schools, venues and corporate clients that require them.
