Quick Answers

The four things organisers ask before renting a party bus in Seattle — answered plainly.

What does a party bus rental include?

A party bus rental includes the bus, a licensed chauffeur for the whole booking, fuel, tolls, parking, ice, glassware and bottled water, plus the Bluetooth sound system and LED lighting. You bring the guest list, the playlist and any sealed drinks — everything else is already on board.

How much is it to rent a party bus in Seattle?

Rental starts at $249 per hour for a 20-passenger bus, $289 per hour for a 28-passenger bus and $329 per hour for our 40-passenger coach, each with a four-hour minimum. A typical five-hour Saturday night in a 20-passenger bus comes to about $1,245, which is roughly $62 per guest.

How many hours should I rent a party bus for?

Four hours is the minimum and suits a dinner-and-two-bars evening. Five to six hours is the sweet spot for bachelorette nights, birthday crawls and Woodinville wine runs, and eight hours covers a full wedding day or an all-day brewery tour across Ballard, Fremont and Georgetown.

How early should I reserve a party bus?

Six to eight weeks ahead for summer Saturdays, prom season in April and May and the December holiday period, because the specific bus is held for your date. Midweek nights and winter dates can often be arranged within a week by calling (206) 615-5466.

One Pickup, One Group, No Lost Hour

Group nights out usually lose an hour to logistics. Three cars leave at different times, someone circles Capitol Hill looking for a space, and half the party is still at the first bar when the rest arrive at the second. Renting a party bus removes all of it — one pickup, one vehicle and travel that becomes part of the night rather than a gap in it.

Our buses are built for exactly that. Wraparound leather seating so everyone faces each other, standing room down the middle, Bluetooth sound controlled from your own phone, LED and laser lighting, and a chilled bar area already stocked with ice, glassware and bottled water before you step on.

Behind the partition is the part that really matters. A licensed, background-checked chauffeur drives the whole rental, knows which Belltown blocks have a legal loading zone at 11 p.m., and gets everyone home afterwards. Nobody draws the short straw and nobody makes a bad decision at closing time.

Party Bus Rental Questions, Answered

Direct answers to what organisers ask us most. Anything else, our dispatch desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

Is there a minimum rental time for a party bus?+
Four hours for every party bus, which realistically covers a pickup, two or three stops and the run home. Stretch limousines have a three-hour minimum if your group is under sixteen and you would prefer a shorter evening.
Can we extend the rental on the night?+
If the bus has no reservation immediately after yours, extra hours are added on the spot at the same hourly rate. Ask your chauffeur and they will clear it with our 24-hour dispatch desk in a couple of minutes.
Can you drink on a party bus in Washington?+
Yes. Washington law allows passengers aged 21 and over to consume alcohol in the rear cabin of a licensed chartered party bus. We supply ice, coolers and glassware and you bring sealed beverages. Open containers are never permitted near the chauffeur, and we card anyone who looks under 30.
Do you rent party buses to under-21 groups such as prom?+
We do, and those rentals are strictly alcohol-free. The bar area is emptied before pickup, the chauffeur confirms the agreed itinerary with the organising parent or school, and chaperones get a direct contact number for the whole night.
How many people actually fit comfortably?+
Book for your real headcount rather than the maximum. A group of 22 is far more comfortable on the 28-passenger bus once coats, bags, gifts and standing room are accounted for — we will tell you honestly which size suits your party.
What are the rules on board?+
Everyone stays seated while the bus is moving, no smoking or vaping inside, no open containers near the chauffeur, and no confetti, glitter or anything adhesive. Banners, sashes and balloons are welcome and the chauffeur will help fit them before pickup.
Is a deposit required, and what if we cancel?+
A deposit secures the specific bus and chauffeur for your date and is non-transferable. Cancellations made more than fourteen days ahead can usually be rescheduled to another date — call dispatch on (206) 615-5466 and we will work it through with you.
Where can the bus pick us up and drop us off?+
Anywhere with a legal loading zone across the 37 Washington cities we serve, including homes, hotels, offices, Sea-Tac Airport and the Pier 91 and Pier 66 cruise terminals. For venues with tight access we scout the spot in advance and text you the exact location.
Can we bring our own music and decorations?+
Yes to both. Every bus has Bluetooth so one person runs the playlist from their phone, and decorations that do not mark the upholstery are welcome. We provide the ice, glassware and bottled water so nothing has to be carried on loose.
Are your party buses licensed and insured?+
Seattle Limo Service is fully licensed in Washington state and every bus carries commercial liability insurance. The fleet is inspected, cleaned and sanitized between rentals, and certificates of insurance are available for schools, venues or employers that require them.
